In a recent media interaction, Manisha Koirala beauty icon of Bollywood, talks about her personal life sheds light on the ups and downs in her life, and breaks the silence on her divorce with Samarth ahead of her series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazar series. She said some people are lucky, who don't get so many lows and have a very peaceful life. I am also lucky that I have had a huge amalgamation of experiences.

Manisha further mentioned how she stayed strong after her divorce and battle with cancer. She further said she had learned more about her life and traumatic experiences. Her work is what She can change and how she sees life, like whether She sees a glass half empty or half full. Do I perceive life to be traumatic? No. Whenever traumatic experiences happen, don’t I learn more about life? Doesn't she become richer in terms of experiences, in terms of first-hand experience of such huge trauma? 

Manisha reflects on her depressed days 

Manisha also shared her low days and depressed days. She gets anxiety attacks and she gets insecure. I have all those things that everyone has. I also feel depressed and sad many times. But I say, Mnnaisha it's time for a walk, let's get up. I feel that once you go through so much, you also realize that there’s another side to it. You can pick yourself up and walk. That’s the motto I live by.”
