The highly anticipated series of the year Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is streaming soon on the OTT giant Netflix.  The renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a ma of the hour and her debut series Heeramandi is the talk of the town. The audience and the critics also admire the series and the ensemble's star-stubbed cast performances. The series has a stellar cast including  Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sharmin Segal, among others. Heeramandi garnered much love and attention from the audience. Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed in a recent media interaction that he at one point, wanted to cast a few Pakistani actors in the series.

The renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is recently in Los Angeles for the premiere of his upcoming web series, Heeramandi. Talking about the Heeramandi, Bhansali said that he wanted to make it a film but the plot was too extensive to be summarized in a film, so he decided to make a series out of it. he thinking about it for 18 years. He said he initially planned to cast Rekha, Rani Mukherji, and Kareena Kapoor in the series. He was also interested in the cast of Imran Abbas, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan. Although things are not working as planned, Sanjay was happy with the final cast of the series.
