Desi girl gone international spy, Priyanka Chopra kicked off the global tour of her forthcoming mega series Citadel in Mumbai and talked about the complexity and challenging aspect of the show.

Prime Video’s original series Citadel is created by David Weil with the Russo brothers acting as executive producers, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh.

Talking to Newshelpline about the show, Priyanka Chopra said, “Citadel is a very complex show, so everything about it was challenging, physically the show was very challenging, but on the other side of it, when I watch the show, I got wow, I cannot believe we all did that.”

Adding about kicking off the global tour in India, Priyanka added, “I am excited to start the global tour for Citadel in Mumbai, which is my city, my hometown. We will soon be travelling the world campaigning the series, but I got the good luck from millions of people in my country, to begin with, and I will take that luck with me, wherever I go, as always.”

The series also stars Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Møller, and Caoilinn Springall. The six-episode first season is scheduled to premiere on April 28, 2023, with its first two episodes.

The series includes spinoffs in different countries and languages. The Indian series, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be directed by Raj & DK.
