The sweet and tender story about a brother and his four sisters, Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar along with Bhumi Pednekar, the trailer for the same has gone viral, and trending at number one position.

The story of the movie is centred around a caring brother, played by Akshay, who is not ready to settle down till his four sisters get married. 
The film is set in lane of Chandi Chowk, where Akshay Kumar as a Chaat vendor is trying to save every penny he could land his hands on, to gather enough money to marry off his four sisters.

The film stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth and Sadia Khateeb as Akshay Kumar’s wild sisters. On the other hand, Bhumi and Akshay are lovers since childhood and wants to marry, but not until Akshay’s married off his sisters first.

Raksha Bandhan is directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. The story written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. The film will theatrically release on 11 August 2022.
