In the recent Katha held in Nagpur, he drew the attention of Media on controversial comments made about him. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri was born in Gadha in MP on 4th July 1996 in a poor Brahmin family. Gadha is in Chhatarpur District. Sri Ram Karpal Garg is the name of his father and Mrs Saroj Garg is the name of his mother. His grandfather Sri Bhagwan Das Garg was a good scholar and connected with Nirmohi Akhara. He learnt Ramayana and Bhagwat Geeta from his grandfather and engaged in the service of Balaji from the age of nine – followed the paths ordered by the Gurus.



Many a times, Shastri Ji has told about the poverty in home and how people ignored his family on attending weddings. His father was unable to arrange money for his sister’s marriage too.

According to him, he has spiritual power gifted by His Guru Ji – Sanyasi Baba. Sri Balaji Maharaj has given him special powers. He organizes a court in the dham, where he calls any of the people sitting in the crowd and claims that he can find out about the person through his divine power. Many a times, his claims have been questioned and controversies have flared up.
