Amitabh Bachchan Confirms Section 84 With Ribhu Dasgupta

This film will mark legendary thespian Amitabh Bachchan and Ribhu Dasgupta’s third collaboration together after the critical success of Yudh (Indian Television thriller miniseries released in 2014) and Te3n (released in 2016).

The official handle of Reliance Entertainment shared a video post, confirming the film, the caption read, “Thrilled to announce #Section84 with the legend himself, @SrBachchan sir. Written & Directed by @ribhudasgupta. @FilmHangar #SaraswatiEntertainment @jiostudios @vivekbagrawal @samkchop”

Confirming the same, Amitabh Bachchan shared, “A delight once again to be in the company of distinguished creative minds for this new venture , and the challenge it provokes, for me.  #Section84 @ribhu_dasgupta @reliance.entertainment @filmhangar #SaraswatiEntertainment @officialjiostudios”

The film, as the title suggest will revolve around Section 84 or also known as Act of a person of unsound mind —Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong or contrary to law.

The film is written and will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.

Amitabh Bachchan is also busy wrapping Ganapath, Ghoomer, The Umesh Chronicles, Project K, Butterfly and Khakee 2.
