Anupam Kher Hosts A Memorial Ceremony For Satish Kaushik

Anupam hosted a special musical event to celebrate the late actor's birthday. Several celebs such as Shankar Mahadevan, Chunky Panday, Anup Soni, Juhi Babbar Johnny Lever, Talat Aziz, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Subhash Ghai, Mukta Ghai,and more showed up at the event.

Late actor Satish Kaushik's wife Shashi Kaushik and their daughter Vanshika were also part of the event. The Mr India actor died in Delhi, allegedly of a heart attack on 9th March 2023.

While interacting with media, Anupam Kher said, “Rather than mourning about someone's death, we should celebrate their life. Satish and I have been friends for almost 48 years and will continue to be."

Earlier in the day, Anupam Kher penned a heartfelt note on his social media, which read, “#HappyBirthdaySatish! My dear friend Satish Kaushik! Wish you a very happy birthday! Today on Baisakhi you would have turned 67. But for 48 years of your life I had the privilege of celebrating your birthday. So I have decided that this evening we will try to celebrate your birthday in a grand way! The seat with Shashi and Vanshika will be vacant. Come my friend and watch us celebrate #SatishKaushikNight with #Music #Love and #Laughter! #Friend”
