 Actor Gurmeet Choudhary slams the boycott culture on social media and supports the leading actors in cinema industry who are creating jobs.

Social media is buzzing with trend of Boycotting every new movie, whether is stars Kumar, Kapoor or Khan. Lastest victim of such trend is Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan and Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. 

Talking about boycott trend on social media, Gurmeet Choudhary said, “To be honest, I really don’t understand the whole Boycott movement, people are saying boycott Aamir Khan, I don’t understand it. Let me start by saying that I am not from filmy background, and I have worked hard to get here,

having said that, see boycotting something is easy, but people don’t realize the amount of employment the project generates. People across the globe knows India through Bollywood, our film industry is a matter of pride for us, people know us through our films”

Further adding, Gurmeet said he believes that majority of people doesn’t believe in boycotting movies, it’s just handful people which are driving the whole thing. He said, “And I think, there is just handful of people who are driving the entire thing. Aamir Khan starrer Dangal was such a huge hit, so

\if people were boycotting the films, it wouldn’t have become such a massive hit. If the film is good, and people will watch it. Whole boycott thing has been in play before Dangal, but the movie became hit. If the film is good, people will watch it, if not, they won’t, boycott has nothing to do with it”
