Deepika Padukone As Lady Singham, Confirms Rohit Shetty

Rohit, who was at the launch of ‘Current Laga Re’ along with Ranveer Singh and Deepika, made the news on stage.

He said: “People keeps on asking me about Singhma’s next part, today let me take his opportunity to say that Deepika and I will work together next year

Rohit and Deepika have previously worked together in ‘Chennai Express’ which stars Shah Rukh Khan and released in 2013. It would be after a decade that the actress and filmmaker would be working together.

The first single of Cirkus, titled Current Laga Re is out. The song is composed by Lijo George and Dj Chetas, it is crooned by Nakash Aziz, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi, and Lijo George. The high energy track has clocked  400k hits within hours of its release. 

Cirkus stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances. The film is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Productionz and T-Series.

Cirkus is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on 23 December 2022, coinciding with Christmas Eve.
