Sharing the happy news on her social media profile, Esha Deol wrote, “My first film that I produced Ek Duaa has won the best film with a social cause at the Indian international film festival of Boston. The film revolves around a lower middle-class family struggling to make ends meet, and the impossibly photogenic daughter, who seems to be at the heart of conflict that arises over the issue of a male child and the discrimination against the girl child in this household. The film is available of Voot Select.

On the work front, Esha Deol was last seen in Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega series, created and directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, and produced under Saregama and Yoodlee Films.

The series also starred Suniel Shetty, Barkha Bisht, Karanvir Sharma, and Rahul Dev. It is streaming on Amazon Mini TV.
