Pathu Thala is a remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti. The upcoming film is helmed by Obeli N Krishna. Silambarasan will reportedly essay the character originally played by Shivarajkumar in the Kannada version.

The song will be out tomorrow, it is composed and crooned by AR Rahman. The film is produced by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja.

The film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay Arunasalam in supporting roles. Pathu Thala is set to release on March 30.
