Actor Ranveer Singh, who has established his career with stunning and nuanced performances in every possible genre, says he had an incredible journey, and he is grateful, and he is more obsessed about his craft now.

Ranveer Singh was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Jayeshbhai Jordaar trailer launch in Mumbai.

When asked about his journey and learning over time, Ranveer Singh said, “It has been an incredible journey, I’d always say that I am too blessed to be able to do all this, that is why my heart is full of gratitude. I start my day with immense amount of gratitude, to be here and share this energy with you, to be able to present something that might entertain you, which I feel is my calling, to entertain people, to make them laugh, make them feel something, I feel that is my purpose on this earth”

“I think over a period of time, I am even getting more obsessed with my craft, thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has helped me on my journey and told me that craft of acting is actually limitless, there are no limits, there are no boundaries, there are no rules, you make your own rules as you go along, craft is like a universe with endless possibilities, and I just want to keep on exploring” added Ranveer Singh.

Further adding, Ranveer Singh credits his wife Deepika Padukone for bringing in positivity in his life and he hopes to strike a work-life balance.

He added, “My hunger for characters and stories, for characterization and for work, is getting even more vociferous and insatiable. Having said that, I am married now and I am trying to maintain some kind of work-life balance, Deepika has bought so much positivity in my life, I am more obsessed with my craft now which I was ten years ago”

Apart from social comedy Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh will reteam with Rohit Shetty in the comedy Cirkus, in which he will play dual roles. He will also star in Karan Johar's romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Alia Bhatt.
