Independence Makes Me Happy And Fulfilled Says Bhumi Pednekar

Bhumi Pednekar was interacting with Newshelpline during an event organized for young women entrepreneurs of India at the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) by NITI Aayog (Government Of India).

When asked about parting with some advice or tips for young girls, Bhumi Pednekar said, “Prioritize yourself, that would be number one, the most important. There will be a lot of No’s and lot of chatter and most of the time, you’ll have people who are trying to pull you down, but you must listen to that one voice, your instinct, your gut, listen to it. You will fail, you will fall, but one time you will succeed, and its results will be so massive, it will make you happy”

“I am happy that I am independent, there is nothing that come close to this happiness, knowing that I am taking care of myself, nothing is more fulfilling that that for me” added Bhumi.

Bhumi Pednekar has inspired young women with her personal choices and decisions to portray women as fierce forces of nature through her films.

Bhumi is also a Climate Warrior who has been working with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) towards India’s climate change goals.
