Jana Gana Mana Confirmed, Starring Vijay Devarakonda

South sensation Vijay Devarakonda and ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh are all set to entertain the movie buffs with forthcoming sports drama Liger, but the duo announces a new movie titled JGM or Jana Gana Mana.  
 
The first look poster and deeds for the project are out. The film will star Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role, it will be helmed by Puri Jagannadh, and it will hit the cinema halls on 3rd August 2023.

As for Liger, it has Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey as the lead along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu and Abdul Quadir Amin. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson will be seen in a cameo role in this movie. 
 
Helmed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Jagannadh under the Dharma Productions and Puri Connects banners. 
 
Vijay Devarakonda underwent a physical transformation for this movie and flew to Thailand to take martial arts training to best fit the bill as he will be seen as a boxer in this sports drama. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, The film is scheduled to be released on 25 August 2022.
