First look poster for 19(1)(a) is finally out, starring Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

The forthcoming movie is produced by Anto Joseph, directed by Indhu V S, and also starring Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead role.

The film marks Sethupathi's debut in a lead role in Malayalam and his second Malayalam film after Marconi Mathai.

The film marks the directorial debut for Indhu VS, who has also written the script of the film, Seemingly a take on Freedom of Speech and Expression - the fundamental right guaranteed by Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution.
