Veteran actor Mammootty and Mohan Lal shared the motion poster for Yoddlee Films Kappa starring Prithviraj Sukumuran in the lead role, back in August. Now the film has gone on floors and makers drop a BTS video. 

The official handle of Yoodlee Films dropped a video post, confirming that the team has started shooting for the thriller. The caption read, “Caution, Kotta Madhu ahead! Unleashing Superstar Prithviraj Sukumuran as Kotta Madhu  KAAPA, a mass action thriller, directed by Shaji Kailas has now

Directed by veteran Shaji Kailas, the film is billed as an action thriller, also stars Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, and Anna Ben. The upcoming movie is written by G.R. Indugopan, the venture is initiated by FEFKA Writers Union. 

The film is set in Kerala’s capital city Thiruvananthapuram and set against the backdrop of the KAAPA (The Kerala Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act), which is commonly known as 'Goonda Act' in Kerala. The tagline of the film reads, ‘The Ring of Death’.

On the technical front, Sanu John Varghese is the cinematographer. Mahesh Narayanan is in charge of the edits and Justin Varghese is the music director. Dileep Nath is the art director. Sameer Saneesh is the costume designer and Ronex Xavier is the makeup artist.
