Randeep Hooda Remembers Sarabjit Singh On His Death Anniversary

Sarabjit Singh, who strayed into Pakistan in 1990 and was kept behind bars for 23 years with many serious allegations against him. He died on May 2, 2013, in a Pakistan jail following a brutal attack.

Randeep took to Instagram and posted a couple of pictures of Sarabjit. In one of the pictures, he can be seen smiling and hugging Sarabjit Singh's sister. He captioned his post, "Today marks 10 years since we lost Sarabjit Singh, the struggles and hardships you faced can never be forgotten. I feel extremely fortunate to have known Dalbir ji, an iron lady who fought against the whole system for her brother & immensely grateful to have received her love that I will cherish for a lifetime. #Sarbjit"

Sarabjit Singh passed away at a hospital in Lahore after being attacked in the jail by other prisoners, with bricks, sharp metal sheets, iron rods and blades.

Helmed by Omung Kumar, the film Sarbjit, also featured Aishwarya Rai, Richa Chadda, Darshan Kumar.

Meanwhile on the work front, Randeep Hooda was last seen in Netflix release CAT, next he will be seen in Swatantra Veer Savarkar, Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, Laal Rang 2 and series Inspector Avinash.

Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, is a social drama helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua and produced by Sony Pictures Films India. The film also stars Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. The film is about to explore India's obsession with fair skin.
