Marking the special and auspicious occasion of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa, the makers of Animal confirms that south sensation Rashmika Mandanna has joined the already stellar cast. 
 
Earlier, the makers announced the film with Parineeti Chopra in the lead, but she exited the film and the role went to Rashmika Mandanna. The magnum opus directorial of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, with an all-star ensemble cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in key roles will now see the national crush Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

The Animal is a crime drama, the movie will commence its shoot this summer.  The film is bankrolled by T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures.
 
Apart from Animal, actress Rashmika Mandanna is also part of Mission Majnu and Good Bye.
 
Spy thriller written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arora, and Sumit Batheja and directed by Shantanu Bagchi, Mission Majnu also features Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. The film marks Rashmika's Bollywood debut. It is scheduled to be released on 10 June 2022.
