A Netflix original Kathal - A Jackfruit Mystery, is a satire drama is helmed by Yashowardhan Mishra, this movie also stars Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Anant Joshi.

Inspired by true events, this film showcases Sanya Malhotra, playing the role of a sincere and determined cop on a mission to find the missing Kathals.

Kathal- A Jackfruit Mystery, marks the directorial debut of Yashowardhan Mishra, and it’s been penned by Ashok Mishra. Produced by Sikhya Entertainment, Balaji Telefilms Ltd, the movie will be streaming on Netflix on 19th May, 2023 onwards.

Apart from Kathal, actress Sanya Malhotra is also shooting for Jawan, starring Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. She is also part of Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
