Tanaav Trailer Is Out, Offers A Gripping Narrative On Kashmir Issue

Applause Entertainment drops the first official trailer for SonyLiv’s new series Tanaav, an Indian adaptation of the popular series Fauda.

Featuring an incredible ensemble of Manav Vij, Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Zarina Wahab, Ekta Kaul, Waluscha De Sousa, Danish Hussain, Satyadeep Mishra, Sukhmani Sadana, Sahiba Bali, Amit Gaur, Arslan Goni, Rockey Raina, M.K. The Indian version of Fauda, produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions, and helmed by Sudhir Mishra and co-directed by Sachin Mamta Krishn.

Set against the backdrop of Kashmir in the year 2017, Tanaav tells the story of a Special Covert Ops Unit, their bravery and courage. It deals with complex emotions and flawed characters, all of whom share the same feelings of love, loss, betrayal and revenge. Tanaav is a socio-political action drama with family at its core.

Shot extensively in real locations in Kashmir over 100 days, Tanaav's story is told over 12 episodes. The SonyLiv series is all set to premiere on November 11.
