Actress Urmila Matondkar announces her comeback to entertainment world, she will make her series debut with Tiwari, helmed by Saurabh Varma.
Sharing the first look poster of her character on social media, Urmila wrote, “THIS TIME The Last Man Standing Will be A WOMAN” Tiwari, Extremely excited to share the first look of my comeback n digital debut in web show “Tiwari”. Only due to your tremendous love n support, my stupendous journey was possible. And it has been a promise of a comeback only with something more challenging than before”

Actress Urmila Matondkar will play the titular role in the web series that's set in a small town and has an emotional mother-daughter story at the core of it, the show is produced by Raj Kishor Khaware and Utpaal Acharya. The series is presently in pre-production.
Urmila took a break from active screen presence after her marriage in 2016. Later in 2019, she joined the Indian National Congress, and in 2020, she joined Shiv Sena.
Urmila was last seen in Blackmail, she did a special song in the movie, which starred Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari, Arunoday Singh and Divya Dutta in lead roles and produced by T-Series Films and RDP Motion Pictures.
