Aamir Khan talks about the power of Namaste 

Recently, Aamir Khan made an appearance at The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show and talked about the power of Namaste. Aamir said, They shot for the film Rang De Basanti in Punjab, and he loved it there. so when they went for the shoot of Dangal, it was a small village they were shooting in. They have been shooting for more than two months in that location and that house. You won't believe it, but when he used to reach there at around 5 or 6 in the morning, as his car entered, people would stand outside their house just to welcome him with folded hands and Sat Sri Akaal. They used to just wait to welcome him. They never disturb him. never stopped his car, nothing. After he packed up, when he returned, they would again be standing outside their homes and would greet him Good Night.

Aamir Khan said that being a Muslim, he was not used to folding his hands and greeting people with Namaste. He said, he belongs to a Muslim Family, and he is not used to folding his hands in namaste. He is used to raising his hands and bowing his head. After spending those two and a half months in Punjab, he understood the power of namaste. It is such a wonderful emotion. People in Punjab have so much respect for everyone.

On the work front, Aamir Khan had a role in Revathi's Salaam Venky. Aamir will next be seen in the film Lahore 1947 co-starring Sunny Deol.
