One of the renowned superstars of the Bollywood industry, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh graced the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra's heritage show in Kashi. The city of Kashi fusion of traditional culture and modernity, held an event at the backdrop of Varanasi Ghat. At the event models showcased the entire timeless beauty of Banars and  Banarasi handicrafts through a contemporary lens. The renowned designer Manish Malhotra's collection was a homage to the royal heritage of Kashi. The designer aimed to showcase the intricate beauty of Banarasi Silk on a global level. Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh also featured at the show and graced the ramp walk in Banarasi handicap traditional designer outfits. 

Kriti Sanon's look at the Event 

The beautiful diva Kriti Sanon spreads elegance as she showcases the intricate beauty of Banarasi silk as she dons an outfit that is made of Banaras's famous silk. The actress looks so Stunning in a maroon-red Banarasi silk lehenga. She wore an ensemble which is accentuated by a gold embroidery border. The actress paired this beautiful lehenga with a half-sleeved matching blouse and a tissue silk dupatta. That gave a touch of grace to Kriti's whole attire. The actress accessorized it with a white Gajra adorned with Kaleeras, ornate jewelry, and a sleek bun adorned with gajra. 

Ranveer Singh's look at the event 

The Bollywood fashion icon Ranveer Singh once again spilled the beans about a unique fashion statement at the event. The actor made a stunning statement in deep plum-colored Dhoti and Kurta pants and an s aBanarsi Silk gold bandgala jacket.  His ensemble is adorned with intricate brocade embroidery. The actor made his appearance in his usual signature rugged beard and backswept hairdo. 

About the event 

The event is not only about exploring the royal heritage of Kashi to the global audience but also promotes Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Vocal for Local, Local for Global' initiative. Through their collaboration with Manish Malhotra, Ranveer Singh, and Kriti Sanon aimed to globalize the exquisite Banarasi handicraft, highlighting the craftsmanship of Kashi on an international platform.
