One of the beloved actresses Sonam Kapoor gave birth to a son Vayu in 2022. Being parents is to be a blessing for everyone and The diva started her parenting journey in August 2022 as she gave birth to her son Vayu. Known for her confidence and self-manner, the actress shared that while she was embracing her self who she is, the experience of gaining 32 kg post-birth was quite traumatizing for her. Sonam Kapoor reveals about  her pregnancy journey 

While in a podcast with Fashionably Pernia, the actress Sonam Kapoor reveals that she is gaining 32 kg after childbirth and she feels traumatized. However, she added that she didn't rush into losing the excessive weight. the actress took one and a half years to get back to her ideal weight. The actress candidly mentioned that she gained 32 Kg and this traumatized her. You are so obsessed with your baby, that you are not thinking about working out. eating right. It took me one and a half years, I took it slow. Sonam reveals that everything in your life changes after pregnancy.  She added that you never feel the same about your body. "I have always accepted myself for who I am, and I was like, I need to accept this version of myself,” said Sonam while explaining the struggle she went through.

Sonam Kapoor talks about her weight loss efforts on Social media. The actress took to her social media handle and shared a note, she said, It’s taken me 16 months to feel like myself again.
