Suriya changed the mind of Jyothika and convinced her to do Rajkumar Rao's Srikanth

The renowned actress Jyothika after making her acting debut in the Hindi film industry moves into the South film industry. The actress worked for 26 years in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu cinema and turned a niche for herself as a force to be reckoned with, both in the mainstream and content-driven entertainment space. But it was this year The actress marked her debut in Bollywood with the action thriller film, Shaitaan. However, not everyone is film Srikanth: Aa Rha Hai which is her comeback in the Hindi Film industry as she finished shooting for it before singing Shaitaan. 

Tushar Hiranandi Talks about Jyothika 

Director of the film Srikanth Tushar Hiranandani said that he is a big fan of Jyothika, He reached out to her immediately to essay the role of Srikanth Bolla's teacher in the film.  However, she turned down the offer initially. He said that He sees a lot of South films starring Jyothika, particularly the Tamil ones. He always thought that she was a great actor. Jothika's first film was Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, which is a Hindi Film. She is a Punjabi girl and so she knows Hindi. So Tushar approched her for Srikanth.

Suriya convinced Jyothika to do Srikanth 

Tushar said that he approached Jyothika for Srikanth but first, she said no and said she won't be able to do that. After that, the director credits Jyothika's husband Suriya who convinced her to be the part of the fil  Srikanth. And the very next day, Jyothika called Tushar and said she wanted to be a part of his film. She said that Suriya read the script and told her to never miss out on that opportunity.  Then Suriya and Jyothika invited Tushar to their home and officially confirmed that she was doing Rajkumar Rao's film Srikanth. Then she portrays the role of Rajkumar Rao's teacher in the film.
