Salman's lawyer has to be put the arguments to cancel the 5-year sentence. As per sources Salman Khan will appear personally in Jodhpur Court. The hearing on today's hearing has been postponed. The hearing on Salman Khan's petition now to be on July 17.

On April 5, Chief District Magistrate Devkumar Khatri had sentenced Salman to five years in jail for the case of black deer hunting. On 7 April District and Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi granted bail to him. Joshi had accepted the petition for suspension of a month in jail for the sanction of bail.

He had asked Salman to appear on court after 1 month on May 7, for a hearing on the petition to suspend the sentence. The judge also instructed him not to go out of the country without the court's approval.
