New Delhi. BMW Motors India is launching the BMW G310R and G310 GS in India on July 18. This bike will directly compete to the KTM 390 Duke. Before BMW launch, BMW G310R, See it’s direct comparision with Ktm 390 here.
BMW Motors India will try to keep the new bike G310R above the KTM 390 Duke with its brand image. The 390 Duke is known for its superior tech features. 390 Duke has many good features. For example- Enduro mode with Bluetooth instrument cluster, LED headlights and switchable ABS with Bluetooth, Smartphone connectivity has been given. There is also a slipper clutch in the bike, which is not given in G310R. While taking about safety in the BMW G310R, feature of anti-lock braking system (ABS) has been given.

Coming on engines and power, these two bikes will have 313 cc Liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which will generate 34 HP@ 28 nm of torque. Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, these two bikes are quite strong in terms of power. Speaking of safety features, these two bikes feature anti-lock braking system (ABS). In the bike there are traditional headlamps and the rear light is LED. Talking about other features, front forks and backwards preload adjustable mono shock are given.
Coming over engine again, BMW G310R will have a 313 cc Liquid Cooled single cylinder engine which will generate 34 HP power and 28 nm of torque. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. Both bikes have used aluminum wheels and have a 17-inch tire. The BMW G310R features Michelin Pilot Street Tires, and the KTM 390 Duke has the Metzeller Sporetech M5 Rubber. The price of KTM (according to the Delhi X Show Room) is 2.40 lakhs. While BMW's G310R's on-road price is 3-3.5 lakhs.

BMW G310R has 313-cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces maximum power of 35 pss and torque production of 28 nm. In comparison, the KTM 390 Duke 373.3-CC is powered by a single-cylinder engine, generating a maximum powerof 43.5 ps and 37 nm of torque. The weight of the BMW G 310R is 158.5 kg, which is slightly below the KTM 390 Duke weight of 163 kg.
