Manika Batra who won gold medal for India in Commonwealth games 2018 Table Tennis along with 7 palyers was refused to climb in flight by Air India. 17 players of India had to go on Sunday to take part in the ITTF World Tour Australian Open. But only 10 players did did not fly because of Air India.

At the Airport counter it was said to Manika Batra and six others players that their scheduled flight has been overbooked. Apart from Manika, Sarath Kamal, Mouma Das, Madhurika Patkar, Harmeet Desai, Suthirtha Mukherjee, Saatha Ganasekaran are not included in this flight.
After this inconvenience, Manika Batra shared this Inconvenience with her official Twitter account. In this tweet, Manika has demanded an inquiry into the matter by tagging the Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and the Prime Minister's Office.

This team included Commonwealth Games Medalists myself, Sharath Kamal, Mouma Das, Madhurika, Harmeet, Sathita, Sathi, who had to leave for AI0308 for Melbourne.
