New Delhi. Ducati has launched its new Ducati Monster 797 Plus in India. The company has priced it at Rs 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom). The new monster 797 plus will replace the old variant. The company has kept it as a fly screen and color-coordinated Pillian Seat Cowl standard fitment. Optional accessory is also provided in the Fly Screen and Rear Cowl, which costs Rs 36,000. Talking about Ducati 797 Plus specifications, Ducati Monster 797 plus will come with 803 CC engine. This engine will generate power of 73hp@67nm torque. The engine is equipped with 6-speed gearbox. No electronic wizardry features will be given in the new monster 821. Apart from this, the Dual-Channel ABS feature will also be offered in the bike for safety features. New Monster797 Plus will be available on all Ducati dealerships in India.

Competition with Suzuki GX-750 : Ducati Monster 797 Plus will compete with the Suzuki GSX-S750. The ex-showroom price of this bike in Delhi is 7.45 lakh rupees. In the 749cc bike, there is an in-line, four cylinder engine that will generate power of 110PS@ 81Nm torque, apart from this it has 6 speed gear. Its engine is set to be according to the Indian roads. The Suzuki GSX-S750 is being assembled in India only.
