Gold price increased, Know the price of 'Sarafa Bazaar'
Gold prices rose sharply today. At the same time, silver prices fell. Gold price in the Delhi Sarafa Bazar rose by Rs 100 to Rs 31,950. There was a rise in the demand for gold in the retail price however, due to weakness in the global market. On the other hand, silver lost Rs 140 to Rs 37,600 per kg. There is less demand in silver for industrial units and coin makers. According to traders, the rise in gold prices due to weddings season the price of gold yesterday was stable.
In Delhi's Sarafa Bazaar, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 31,950 and Rs 31,800 per 10 grams. Globally, gold in New York, at $ 1235.02 an ounce, rose to $ 14.45 an ounce.
Silver for the weekly delivery rose by Rs 26 to Rs 36,394 per kg. Silver coins increased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 73 thousand and coin sold for Rs 74 thousand per hundred. Sovereign remained up by Rs 100 to Rs 24,800 per piece of 8 grams.
