NEW DELHI: Government has decided to stop the traffic at Delhi's old Yamuna bridge due to the rising water level of Yamuna and the river flowing above the danger mark.

The risk of flooding has highly increased due to flowing above the threat of Yamuna. Instructions have also been issued to remove the people living in low-lying areas adjacent to the Yamuna in Delhi.
Due to floods and rain, people are facing problems in many states. There is a threat of flooding in the Yamuna river with constant rain on the hills. The water level of the river Yamuna reached 205.50 meters in Delhi, which is 0.67 meters above the danger mark.
