Indira Gandhi had already sensed of her death, said such a thing in the last speech
Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of the Republic of India for 3 consecutive innings from the years 1966 to 1977 and then the Prime Minister of India from the fourth inning until her political assassination in 1984.
Whatever decisions she took, she used to take them with great courage and also had the strength to implement them. She was such a powerful leader that the whole of India would listen to her speech when she spoke.
On 31 October 1984, she was shot and killed by her two bodyguards. Both of them shot not one or two but 25 bullets to Indira Gandhi. Before this, she had given a speech in Bhubaneswar and said that in her speech, she said that I am here today, I may not stay here tomorrow.
I do not care that my life will not last long but I am happy that I have spent my life in the service of the country. I will keep doing this till my last breath. Every strand of the blood of my body is dedicated to the country. On hearing this speech of Indira Gandhi, everyone was shocked as to why she is saying this.
It can be guessed from this that she had realized her death somewhere before.
