IPL Franchise Delhi Daredevils defeated Chennai Super Kings team on Friday in T20 match. On Friday, DD won the toss and elected to bat first against the Chennai Super Kings. Terrific performance by Delhi Daredevil bowlers and batsman helped the team to win by 34 runs. Chasing the target of 163 runs of Delhi, CSK team could score just 128 runs in twenty overs game.

CSK batsman Rayudu scored 50 runs while Ravindra Jadeja made unbeaten 27 runs. Daredevils Amit Mishra took two wickets for 20 runs and Sandeep Lamichane clinched one wicket for 21 runs. Trent Bolt also picked up two wickets for 20 runs while Harshal Patel clinched one wicket for 23 runs.
Earlier, Delhi scored 162 for five wickets. Vijay Shankar (36 not out) and Hershal Patel (36 not out) made an unbroken partnership of 65 runs for 6th wicket in 5.2 overs. Rishabh Pant scored 38 runs. On the other hand, Superkings fast bowler Lungi Ngidi took two wickets in 14 overs.
Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket and gave 19 runs in four overs. Deepak Chahar and Sharadul Thakur clinched one wicket each and gave 23 runs and 27 runs respectively. Dwayne Bravo proved to be great player on Friday as he scored 52 runs in four overs. Chennai Superkings team is currently lying on second position with 16 points from 13 matches. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils are at the last in tally table with eight points from 13 matches.
Shane Watson (14) and Rayudu gave superkings a vigilant start while chasing the target. The team could only manage 22 runs in five overs. Rayudu hit three sixes and a four in bowl of Prasad Khan in the sixth over. Chennai Super Kings were at a score of 44 without loss in the Power Play.
Dhoni scored 6 runs on Friday against DD as he scored 10 runs during the innings.
Needing 69 runs in final overs, Chennai Superkings player Ravindra Jadeja take the score of team to 100 in the 16th over of match but later Dhoni and Jadeja failed to take the score of team forward. The yellow team was requiring 55 runs to win in the last three overs which they couldn’t able to make as it proved to be a mountain-like goal for them.

Earlier, Delhi's team was in trouble after losing 5 wickets for 97 runs in the 14th over but Vijay Shankar and Patel’s partnership helped the team to make a challenging score. Patel faced 16 balls and hit four sixes and one four while Vijay Shankar hit two sixes and two fours in 28 balls.
