Put into bat first, Kings XI Punjab made a lowest score in this IPL season on Monday. The team gave a target of 89 runs to Bangalore yesterday.
Virat Kohli and Umesh Yadav gave Bangalore team a lifeline in the Indian Premier League T20 match held on Monday. Skipper Virat Kohli clinched 48 runs off 28 balls against Punjab. He was given Man of the Match for his impressive innings with the bat.
Hunting a target of 89, Kohli and Parthiv Patel (40 off 22 balls) completed the match in just nine overs. On the other hand, Punjab did not show a great start as their both openers Lokesh Rahul and Chris Gayle were thrashed away by RCB bowlers in just five overs. Later, the team couldn’t able to rebuild the innings.
