IPL 2018: MI Beat KKR By 102 Runs, MI Still Have Chances To Be In PlayOffs


Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs on Wednesday. Ishan Kishan played a stormy innings of 62 runs on 21 balls that comprises of 5 boundaries and 6 sixes and helped MI to have more chances to win the match. Mumbai Indians scored 210 runs with loss of 6 wickets in 6 overs.

MI Skipper Rohit Sharma Scored 36 runs on 31 balls and Ben Cutting scored 24 runs on 9 balls. From the bowling side of KKR, Piyush Chawla proved himself as most wicket grabber bowler and took 3 wickets on 48 runs in 4 overs, Prashid Krishna, Tom Curran and Sunil Narine took 1-1 wickets each.

Even the star batsmen of KKR like Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana ,Robin Uthappa and Andre Rusell failed to take their team on the victory way. chris Lynn scored 21 runs on 15 balls, Robin Uthappa lost his wicket on just 14 runs, Nitish Rana scored 21 runs and Andre Russell scored just 2 runs.

From MI bowling side dependable bowler Hardik Pandya took 2 wicket on 16 runs in 3 overs, Krunal Pandya took 2 wicket on 12 runs in 3.1 overs, Mitchell Mcclenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, Ben Cutting and Mayank Markande took 1-1 wickets each respectively. By winning this match MI came on 4th position in points table for the first time in this ipl season.
