IPL auction 2019 Jaipur: 1003 players will present claims for 70 places
1003 players have registered for 70 available venues in eight franchisee teams in the auction of players to be held in Jaipur on December 18 of the 12th Indian Premier League season. Apart from the North-Eastern states, Uttarakhand and Bihar cricketers, 232 foreign players have also registered for the auction. 800 of the registered players have not played any international matches, including 746 Indian players.
Australia's 35, while 27 players from Afghanistan have registered. Most of the 59 players from South Africa have registered. 1 each player from the US, Hong Kong and Ireland is included in this list. The list will be sorted out for the auction and the franchisees have been given time to submit the list of players of their choice till December 10.
Richard Medley, who regularly operated the IPL auction this time, will not be part of the auction this time and this time the responsibility of the auction is handed over to Hugh Edmiedas. Edmiedas has more than 30 years of experience in the auction company Christie. He will replace Meidley.
