New Delhi: Nearly five militants were gunned down by Indian army as they were trying to cross the LoC in Tangdhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

As per the reports, the militants were putting efforts to come into the Indian side in early morning but were later gunned down in firing by Indian jawans. The reports revealed that the infiltration bid was thwarted by 20 Jat Regiment personnel’s on Saturday. The attack takes the lives of five militants.
After the indiscriminate firing by Pak Army, Indian jawans have been keeping a close watch along the LoC.
Nearly four civilians were attacked on Wednesday and about 30 others were wounded in all night heavy firing across the international border in Jammu and Kashmir. The attacks wounded three personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) and more than three dozen BSF posts from Akhnoor to Samba were strike by Pakistani firing.

"Five terrorists killed while attempting to infiltrate early morning today," a defence spokesperson affirmed.
