Tech desk| Reliance Jio will assist in completing the 'Namami Ganges Program' of National Mission or Clean Ganges (NMCG) while participating in Clean Ganges campaign. Telecom Wing of Reliance Industries Ltd, Reliance Jio, will send messages and notifications to its users to make Ganga aware and sensitive to keep clean. For this, the company has entered into an agreement with NMCG.
Under this partnership Reliance Jio Infocom Limited will send clean Ganga message SMS and digital banner push notifications made available by NMC to its wider customer base during Kumbh Mela running in 2019. Its purpose is to keep the Ganga clean during Kumbh. In fact, during the Kumbh festival, a large number of people are reaching Prayagraj (Allahabad) for the Ganga bath.
In such a way, to make people aware of the Ganga cleanliness is one of the main objectives of the government. Jio has recently released Aquarius app for Jio Phone users, in which Ganga Antham has also been added. Jio said in the above information that more than 5 million live phone users will now be able to enjoy Ganga Antham along with other features of the app.
Significantly, Jio recently launched a special app for Jio Phone users keeping in mind the Kumbha festival. It has added a lot of work related to train, bus, bath and Aquarium. This feature has also been added to the new phone in the family of Kumbh. The company said that taking advantage of the wide reach of the Jio Network through this cooperation, NMCG will be able to reach the message of Clean Ganga initiative directly and immediately to millions of people across the country during the Kumbh Mela of 2019.
