Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane became the first player from Nepal to play in the Indian Premier League, 2018 after making his debut for Delhi Daredevils against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Lamichhane is bought for Rs. 20 lakh by Daredevils. But he had not yet got the chance of debut. Lamichhane is 17-year-old cricketer born in the Syngaza of Nepal.

Lamichhane also made his debut in T20 with this match. Apart from them Delhi also gave Abhishek Sharma and Jr. Dala a chance to debut in IPL. Delhi Daredevils coach Ricky Ponting handed over the IPL cap to all three.
