In Maharashtra Committing suicide in the state has made the movement faster. People of Maratha community performed 'Rasta Roko' on Aurangabad-Jalgaon road on Tuesday. Police said that 35-year-old farm laborer Abhijeet Deshmukh of Vida village of Beed district of Marathwada area was hanged from a tree near his house.
He told that for Maratha reservation in Latur District of Marathwada eight demonstrators tried to self-sacrifice by sprinkling kerosene on their bodies. People of Maratha community have said that the state BJP-led government has been "failed" in retrieving the criminal cases registered against protesters and against it they will be exhibiting in Mumbai.
Latur's Superintendent of Police Shivaji Rathod said that eight people tried to commit suicide outside the Tehsildar office in Ausa in Latur district, but the police failed their efforts on time. They told that protesters were taken into custody .The official said that we assured them that we will raise their demands before the government.

Pravin Patel, leader of the Gross Maratha Morcha, told that people of the Maratha community will conduct a Jail Bharo movement in Mumbai on Wednesday.
