West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed concern over hiking prices of petrol and diesel. Banerjee wrote on her social networking page, "We are very concerned about the rising prices of petrol and diesel. This will certainly affect prices all around. Common people, farmers and many will suffer a lot just because of this".
It is worth noting that oil companies once again revised the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol price is hiked by 33 paisa and diesel price hiked by 26 paisa. The prices mentioned below are suitable from 6:00 a.m. morning today.
Petrol price is 76.24 per litre and diesel price is 67.57 in New Delhi. The petrol rates are 78.91 in Kolkata, 84.07 in Mumbai and 79.13 in Chennai according to notification.
Similarly diesel Price 70.12 in Kolkata, 70.04 in Mumbai and 71.32 in Chennai according to notification.
