Bengaluru: IPL Franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 14 runs on Thursday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in a royal way.

Requiring 20 runs off the final over, Hyderabad team managed to make 204/3 in twenty overs match. RCB gave a target of 219 runs to the opponent team. SRH skipper Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey contributed 135 runs in the match but their efforts went unproductive.
In the sixth over, Sunrisers opener Shikhar Dhawan was sent back to the pavilion by Yuzvendra Chahal while Alex Hales clinched 37 runs in the match. Hales was also sent back when AB de Villiers took a one-handed catch by jumping in the air.
Prior, AB de Villiers (69) and Moeen Ali (65) contributed 107 runs till third wicket. Their partnership took the score of team to 218/6. De Villiers and Ali struck half-centuries to set big score.
In this IPL season, AB De Villiers hit his fifth half-century. His innings comprised of 12 fours and one six. On the other hand, Ali hit two boundaries and 6 sixes off 34-balls.

Player Colin de Grandhomme clinched 40 runs off just 17 balls whereas Sarfaraz Khan scored unbeaten 22 runs off 8 balls.
