Serena Williams' fourth-round match was scheduled to be held against Maria Sharapova yesterday.
World No. 1 permits Maria Sharapova to enter into the quarterfinals round. Sharapova will face 2016 winner Garbine Muguruza in semi-final round.
“I am going to come up on surfaces that are my absolute favourites to play on and do best on so hopefully I will continue to heal.” Serena Williams said.
