"War planes, which are likely Russian, targeted the village of Zardana in northern rural Idlib overnight and caused the highest death toll in a single attack on the region including 11 women and six children," Rami Abdulrahman, the director of the Britain-based war monitor affirmed.
The incident wounded 60 people in the strike. It is believed that death toll in the incident is likely to rise in the coming days. The rescue operation is on to evacuate people.
As per Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the incident takes lives of six children. The attack took place following members of the Muslim community had broken their Ramzan fast.
