If PAN card is not linked to Aadhaar, then your PAN will be treated as invalid under Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act. This can cause your tax refund to get stuck. Can link by sending SMS The Income Tax Department has given an option to taxpayers that they can also link Aadhaar-PAN through SMS. This method is the easiest. For this, you have to type UIDPN on your phone. After this, enter your Aadhaar number and then the PAN number by giving space. For example, UIDPAN is to be sent to 567678 or 56161. After this, the Income Tax Department will put both your numbers in the link process.
