In an interview with ComicBook recently, Locke spoke to the trials of keeping a secret and what that does to his experience on the show. He said that for him, one of the big challenges has been keeping the details of his character under wraps; that way, he can't fully share the excitement of the show's twists and turns. "It's frustrating at times because I want to talk about all the brilliant things that happen on the show," Locke said. "But also, the amazing things in the show are only amazing if the secrets are kept until they're supposed to be. The reveals and the twists and the turns are only effective if they're kept." Locke explained, "Teen is not, like a placeholder name or codename; that's actually what my character is named in the show. It's really woven into the show and everyone's like, no," Locke explained, referencing skepticism he gets in regards to this. "I'm like, 'No, I mean it. It's definitely [the character]."
