Kamal Hassan and S Shankar's Indian 2 release in June

Indian 2, The much awaited highly anticipated film, directed by S Shankar is ready to hit the screen in June. Today, The Makers of  Indian 2 unveiled its release month but the specific date hasn't been shared. The Kamal Hassan starrer has been plagued by inordinate delays. With post production work of the film going on in full swing, the unit expectes the film to be ready by June. It's a follow-up to Hassan's film Indian, a vigilante action drama that was released in 1996 and was helmed by leading director S Shankar.

The cast of Indian 2 has a talented and eventual cast. In the film, the cast includes Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Rakul Preet Singh, and SJ Suryah. The film will also serve as the final on-screen appearance for late actors Venu, Venu, Vivek, and Manobala and is produced by and Lyca Productions banner.

Last Month, In an exclusive interview, Kamal Hassan talked about Indian 2. He said We cannot speed up production because quantity doesn't matter, quality matters."I have completed Indian 2 and 3. The director said that post-production is happening on Indian 2 and we start post-production on Indian 3 maybe after we finish this.
