Maidaan is a biographical sports drama starring Ajay Devgan. The film is directed by the popular Amit Ravindranath Sharma. Apart from  Ajay Devgan the film stars, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh play pivotal roles. Ajay Devgan plays the role of Football Coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor. Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor  Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, Maidaan is scheduled for an Eid release in April 2024.
