The opener for Gujarat Titans (GT) dominated the highest run scorer position in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and was awarded the Orange Cap for his remarkable performance. Gill smashed a total of 890 runs in 17 matches during the 16th edition of the league, including three centuries. Despite his outstanding efforts to secure a second consecutive championship win for GT, they unfortunately lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final.
