Thunivu is an action thriller film written and directed by H. Vinoth, and produced by Boney Kapoor. It stars Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier.

Ajith Kumar's 61st film as actor was announced with the working title AK61, to be produced by Boney Kapoor under Bayview Projects LLP and directed by H. Vinoth. It would mark the third collaboration between the trio following Nerkonda Paarvai (2019) and Valimai (2022). Ajith was reported to be playing dual roles in the film.
The film also stars John Kokken, Samuthirakani, Mamathi Chari, Veera, Prem Kumar, Mahanadi Shankar, Nayana Sai, Amir, Ajay, and Ciby Chandran. It is scheduled to release in January 2023, during Pongal.
